A guy I know says he has a Howard backhoe (3pt) from the 70s. Anybody familar with these at all. He is a ways away, and I don't know any of the details about these things. I think he said it was a power arm model? I looked for a picture online, but no luck. I might be looking at it in a few weeks and wondered if they were worth a darn.

Thanks,

Darren

Is it British? if so the words "1970's "Backhoe" and "Power Arm" suggest McConnell to me, not Howard.

Somewhere in the stash, I've got a brochure. I'll have a plough around and see if it turns up. As I remember, it sure didn't look extra heavy duty, but it seemed every second farm in England had a backhoe of some sort as they have a huge number of surface ditches to keep cleaned out. Will post back here.
