JD Single row horse drawn binder info needed

I found several old John Deere horse drawn single row binders on the old family farm, and I would like to know something about them before they are hauled off for scrap. A copy of the original operator's manual would be verrrry helpful.

I restored a JD one-row corn binder a couple of years ago. You can order an owners' manual and a parts book for the machine from Deere & Co. Call (800) 522-7448 and ask for OMW4649, and PC141. They cost me $5.13 and $9.31 respectively at the time I got them. You'll need a credit card to make payment.
