Darrell, I have ground engaging equipment for that drill if your interested. beware JD no longer supports some of the parts for the drill. I converted the one I bought to a regular no-till drill. I have pics of parts and conversion if you are interested. I'm in N-E IL. Dave

That is a power-driven drill meant for drilling into old sod. It will take at least 70 HP to run it, and at least the same amount of tractor to lift it. Also a very maintenance-intensive machine compared to regular drills.

Hey Darrel, you're in Western Kentucky right? I'm hunting for one of those drills. If you have a line on one, and aren't interested, let me know where it's located please. Kinda hard item to find.

Got the email. Heading over to ebay to check out the auction. On my way down your way this weekend. (Lietchfield) Got a family reunion. Thanks for the tip on the drill. I've been looking for one for a couple years. Now to see if I can afford it....

I'm high bidder on it right now. Still haven't hit the reserve bid though. I might try to contact the seller after the auction if it doesn't sell.
