Picked up a NH461 haybine. Are parts still avalible for this machine? looks like I need to relace a bearing on the end of the drive unit.
The one that is mounted on the back side of the frame oposite the gear box.

Just rebuilt the gear box on mine. replaced a couple bushings in the override clutch. Did this when I had to replace drive belt, works like new now. all the bearings and seals cost about $50, instock at dealer

Kelly,

I have a NH 461 and I've always been able to get parts when I needed them. The 461 is a great machine and I haven't needed parts that often but when I did they either had then in stock or could get them overnight. I posted a couple of pictures of mine cutting some good horse hay under Implement Photos.

Good Luck!

Allen,

I estimate mine are 20' long. The lift cylinder is at the back, so probably 6' to where the tongue attaches, 8' down the tongue and an additional 6' at the end of the tongue. I have the extra at the tractor end so I can bring the hoses up and bungee them to the seat to keep them form getting pinched when I do square corners. These hoses ore not one piece I have three connected together.

Have a Gooder!

You should still be able to get parts for it. I have a 460 which is a little older and I can still get the parts for it.
