Does anyone move round bales to the field edge or group bales for loading with their baler instead of dumping the bales randomly?

I dump them where they get tied and then pick them up with my Cannonball bale bed with my pickup. I can haul two at a time, besides it's faster than a three point bale fork and it's lots more comfortable.

I did when I had an open cockpit baling rig. Had to bale into the wind so while I was riding back to start again, I'd just dump the bale off outta da way and start the next run. Now that I have joined the "uppety" croud, I can bale any direction and plop them where they plop.

I do all the time, I bring tractor and baler up around the gate area of the field and drop them instead of dropping them in the field. Saves haveing to move them a long ways with the loader tractor. But my bales around 2000-2500lbs each.
