foam filled tail wheel on a JD 44 plow

The tail wheel on my plow finally split the sidewall. It was the one with the angled tread, and I would like to keep it. I'm thinking about filling it with the canned expanding foam insulation.

Has anyone tried this ? Is it a really dumb idea ?

I was told Miller Tire in Ohio now has that slant btm. tire available for plows. Phone is 419-335-7010. Earl

You're right, I didn't think that they were being made anymore. It looks like about $100 for the tire, tube, and shipping. I'm leaning towards spending the the extra $40 to get it.

I've try that with an old rake I had it didn't work. That foam is made to seal not hold up to what a tire does
