Hey folks,

I'm looking to replace one worn and one broken gear in the gearbox of a hand-me-down bush hog. Sorry no p/n or make yet - It will be delivered to my place soon -- Where in NW Iowa/SE South Dakota/Internet would be a good place to start searching for replacements?

Eric

You might try just buying a replacemnt gearbox from KingKutter or one of the other manufacturers. They out source them I'm sure and there are probably only a few manufacturers fo these right angle drives. Ask them for the specs and the installation envelope(dimensions, bolt pattern, shaft sizes, hole sizes, etc). You can also do a web search under "Rotary Cutter Gear Box" and see what you get. If you have any tractor or farm equipment wrecking yards in your neighbor hood, they might be able to help you. I'm sure others will have additional suggestions.
