I have a NH 277 baler that the tongue broke while dragging it home last night. Will the tongue from other balers work as a replacement. Any help appreciated.

If by "any other baler" you mean other than NH, I wouldn't bet on it. Maybe there is some comonality between models of NH balers. My suggestion is to weld and reinforce it or have some one do it for you if you don't weld. There are many balers out there with welded tounges cranking out the bales.

Well I took the tongue off, straightened it, welded it up and then put 3/16 x 1-1/2 angle bracing on all four sides. It looks ok and should be plenty strong. Cost me one day out of the field and the hay I had down was very dry. All in all it could have been much worse
