FINALLY got the 68 under my thumb. Nice square, strong stackable bales. On number 799, the little doohickey on the chain that draws the tine bar let go. Snapped right off. Bar and punger are OK, but three sets of tines, which were finally set in the right position and timed to the nth degree, are now toast. This must be the baler equivalent of throwing a hissy fit. "I will not" said the baler. "Oh yes you will" said I. Oh well, now that the secrets of a good bale are revealed, it's nothing that can't be fixed. Just glad she held out till the last bale.
