2-12 what I used with mine, then Uncle 4 mile away had 3-14 that he used, sold his plow to neighbor for his 8XX series Ford (45 HP) said it did not have enough power to handle the plow that Uncle claimed his 30 handled easy and clained he also used that 3-14 with a 20 and same type of ground. Some call that 30 a 3 plow tractor and I know in some ground it will handle it but again in some other ground it will have all it can handle with a single bottom 12" so it depends on your ground and also on condition of your tractor. Fresh rebuild with oversize pistons on higher compression? or old warn orignal engine?

Good choice would be a Dearborn 2 bottom. The guys on the Fergie or 8N board would have other suggestions.
