Anyone have a source for replacement bars for a David Bradley rake ? I have considered making them myself but have some concerns about maintaining alienment when I drill the holes . I really hate to have to give the old girl up , it has been the best rake I have ever used .

I am not sure where you are at, but I have two DB rakes. One is a parts machine that I would be willing to sell you some bars. I am in upstate NY near Binghamton.

You will have to make them as parts were no longer avaible and Sears never knew thay sold David Bradley machinery when we had ours back in the 70's & early 80's. We sold ours in 81 when we quit the dairy heard, The dogs in the drive wheels we were able to find at that time as an oliver dealer had some on hand for an Oliver Hores Drawen mower and they were the same, At that time we could not even buy the teeth anymore, I understand that acording to previous posts here someone is now making them again
