Not having much luck finding a decent haybine round here. Found one feild ready. It is a massey. Any one ever used a massey before. I didnt even know they made them. I dont want to buy a problem machine and worry bout getting parts, but if they are good machines and parts can be had. I'll spring the $900 for the feild ready thing. If not I have to use a sickle mower or the brushcutter for the meadows. Which would be better ?

Dave, I bought a Massey 925 three years ago for$1100, and it has been one of the best pieces of machinery I own, works great, easy to operate and grease. I believe that parts are available from Massey Ferguson, but I have never had to buy any. It is a great haybine and whoever owned it ahead of me must have taken good care of it. The numbers represent width 9.25 feet or 7.25 feet in width....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Not familiar with the 925 and 725 models, but the MF Haytender 91 was made by New Idea, and was the same as the NI 290, and the Ford 535.
