nc140man, I have a sales brochure from the mid sixties for the Farmall 140 Tractor. Implements for use on the 140 are pictured in it. The plow that you have is pictured and is described simply as " Fast-Hitch two-way plow". 14 or 16 inch bottoms. 20-inches of trash clearance. Easy manual shift. No model number is given in the literature. This and any other larger two-way plow is used to throw the soil all in the same direction over the entire width of a field. If you never saw it operated, here's how. Shift the lever to one side or the other, put plow into ground, make pass across field, lift plow, shift lever to other side, turn around and drive back across field in the furrow just plowed. All soil is thrown same direction . Great for use on hillsides, all soil thrown up hill. Tractor rides level.

Thanks Weldon, it looks fairly simple to operate. I think the fast hitch is great! Never tried the plow, borrowed a fast hitch disc from a friend and it worked great! Now I have to find My own somewhere! In process of restoring My grandfather's '61 140 and am going to clean up the implements also. All I have is the plow and a trip bucket front end loader. Would like to get a bush hog, disc, maybe a finishing mower too!'later, Scott!

This is a nice piece. It is a single bottom, rollover plow. I can"t tell you exactly how it mounts to the tractor. If this is like the Super A we had, you reverse the drawbar, and connect the plow to the drawbar. There is a link that connects the lift arm on the power pack to the front of the drawbar to control the plow depth, and a chain or link that lifts the plow at the rear of the tractor. Good Luck.
