They are not perfect but are a lot cheaper and a WHOLE lot less maintenace that a half dozen more tractors.Lets see ;6 tractors, that means 3 new batteries plus 4 or 5 flat tires each year.Naw, I would buy the quick coupler "AND" a center link cylinder. The center link cylinder will go a long way to eliminate the problems a quick coupler causes.I wonder if the neighbor still has mine? Its been gone for about 10 years. He must like it,huh?

snappie: Some hitches are user friendly and a good many of them are not.

I have 4 tractors out in the field right now because I don't like to hook up and unhook as needed, plus others sitting in standby just in case onhe brakes down.

Pto & hyd hoses need adjustment. Many implements turn out to be slightly off-standard in dimentions, esp. that upper link so some modifications or machinery trading needs to happen. For big heavy implements it will move the load back a couple of inches, makes your hyd work harder/ lowers lift capacity/ makes front end even lighter. Does not work with specialty equip such as post hole diggers, backhoes, etc. so if you use these you end up taking hitch off & on - more work.

After all that, once you get settled in they work well & save time. Just depends on what exact implements you use & how standard they are.

snappie,if you are just using one category size equip. they help, but the heights of center link masts on diff. equip. are not all the same so some adjustments may be in order.Tx Jim
