Crikey your topic header frightened me! I think I am well known on here for singing the praises of the disc mower, I wondered what you were going to say about it!

sorry man, i got plenty to buck on my own! i grew up in WI and my buddies and i threw hay for just about every dairy farm in the county. the farm i grew up on put up 30,000 a year. i'm really enjoying only doing a few thousand when i think back to those days! but then again, there was 7 of us back then where now it's just me and the wife. i'll let you guess who drives the tractor and sets em on the elavator and who stacks the wagons and mow?!?!

Our wives must be related... mine won't even drive the tractor - she wants me to hook my trailer up to her Explorer so she can have AC while I sweat my brains out.

Believe me, my money situation is enough to make a grown man cry. :>(

When you get to Rapid City, turn left and follow yur nose for 123.3 miles. I'll be the sappy one standing beside a broken down red tractor feeling sorry for myself. :>(

The McCormick C70 is doing fine. We use it to pull the disc mowers and bale & wrap haylage. We are looking at a CX105 CAB for the larger chores. We need to replace the JD2940.

YES! the message is getting through I think. Thank you Mr. Zweegers!
Those McCormicks are built just a few miles from here and and a getting quite a following. They are made in the old "Harvesters" (IH) factory in Donny (Doncaster) . Good to know they are turning out some good stuff nowadays. In the late 1970's the tractors that were coming fom there were oh so pathetic and unreliable they were bieng called "Intertrashionals"
