International 46 baler Needles

Every time I have tried to use this baler it snaps both needles...I have had the needles welded 4 times now..I got it ready for the field today.i baled 10 bales of loose hay in the barn and on the 11 one they snapped again..... .It makes a really nice bale I hate to get rid of it...Does anyone know what is wrong????? ?????I am so fed up....Scott

I have a IHC 46 baler that is complete and would like to get rid of it. The only thing that is wrong with it is it sat outside and the plunger is locked up. I would like $50 for the whole baler.

As Jim says below, your baler is out of time, or the needles were not perfectly welded. They really need to be about perfect.....

As to the timing, chain stretch can mess things up, buy a new chain, set it up to spec on the timing. Anything else go loose on the whole timing driveline, some key or clamping bolt or some such?
