I need to get rid of LOTS of trees and brush that I'm not allowed to burn on site. will a tub grinder that's designed for hay, silage, etc do the same as the BIG tub grinders that are used commercially for land clearing? I don't care if it slow,as long as it is possible? Are there rusted out or damaged tub grinders to be found?

No. it wouldn't be practical. Tub grinders are too open to feed brush and tend to throw pieces back out at you. I have seen pieces thrown 20 - 30 feet in the air out of a tub grinder.
