I still have one My Dad and Uncle bought New. I will not tell you I baled 1200 bales and never missed a bale, I am sorry I just don"t believe those storys. In good condition it is a very good baler and will miss very few bales.

Yep, I question those claims also. I agree it ain't a bad little baler. Mine did not have the capacity that I would have liked. I could not bale a double windrow. But as long as I baled a single windrow it kept going and going and going and going.

with our NH278. When it did finnally miss it was because a roll of twine was hooked up wrong in the twine box.

Yes depends on the windrow moisture & condition, speed your travelling and of course the kind of shape your baler is in.

When things are all working good we still seem to get the odd broken bale when the balls switch and the knot ends up in just the wrong spot.
