The 69 was built from 1959 to 1961. The 269 was built from 1964 thru 1968. Steve

I figured they were real close, as they seem to use the same knotters. I have been working the 69 for about 10-12 years now, but picked up a 269 in good shape, for cheap. I see a minor problem with one knotter, but have not had time to repair it yet. I only put up about 1000 bales a year, and cannot justify the cost of a new baler. THANKS!

somone else is gonna have to tell you when they were built but i do know thw 269 is newer than the 69. my buddy has a 69 and it has treated him well. anything new holland or deere in balers is gonna be good unless it's had a hard previous life.
