I can buy one of these old units cheap enough but can I buy parts? Will these old combines work for soybeans? thanks Lou

Allis Chalmers best cleaning machine ever built on any crop from the smallest grass seed to wheat to beans and even have a setting for corn

i have one and it got hit head on when i was moving over the road. i am going to find parts and rebuild it if that tells you something! =)i let one go at an auction for $650.oo. if i had had the money i would have got it. only bad thing is you have to open field up.i personanlly think it was allises best all crop.

Don't know about parts, but they'll definitely work for soybeans. Our second combine ever.....late '50s....was an All-Crop 72. This was before there was such a thing as herbicides (at least, over-the-top for soybeans). Big improvement over the "66" we had earlier ( conveyor vs. canvas.)
