Bought a 530 ford baler at a farm sale last fall messed with it some then could not get it to knott on boths sides Left knotter was real good right make knot it would either hang on bill hook or break knot. Worked on it yester day for about 1/12 hours retimed the twine holder, adtusted the knife bracket and cleaned every thing then oiled and greased. WoW! makes 38" long bales and ties and packs great! could stand some paint and decals but baled all afternoon ok! Farmer down road seen it baling Offered $300.00 Told him I need what I got in it $350.00 Is that to much? Do I have to much in it? Would any body be interested in it for $350.00 Its blue and White! Thanks!!!!

Down here in E. Texas good square balers are going anywhere from 350 for non baling or uknown balers to over 1000 for good tested balers. It sounds like 350 for your baler is really cheap. It really doesn't matter the brand to me if it works, it works. Over half of the Ag equipment being made is made by one company and the being rebadged anyway. Good luck!

From my experience last year prices of older square balers are going up some. I had a hard time selling a square baler about 4 years ago, then last year when I went to replace it after I decided I would bale up some squares to sell I had a hard time coming up with one and didn't find one for what I sold the other one for. I finally ended up finding a Ford 532 for $850 in good shape. I would say you should have no problem getting your $350 out of it, and depending on where you are located you might get double that especially if you show them it works good. I would rather pay $700 for a known working baler than $350 for one I never saw bale a bale. Just my opinion.

As with anything, location is the issue. There are parts of the country where that baler would bring $1000 baling and other parts where you would have to give it away. I personally would not have any problems owning a baler that baled and made great knots without missing for $350 but then I personally don't mind owning a Ford baler... Where are you located??
