JD 80 corn planter

I cannot in my wildest imagination figuring anybody would pay that kind of money for a used 2 row planter. I'm getting grumpy in my middle years and I apologize for being so.

Farming practices vary so widely from region to region and equipment that is common in one location is unheard of in another. You folks in the big flatlands, with fields that stretch for ever, use machinery we can't even find room to turn around down here in eastern Kentucky! I used to work up in central-northern Ohio and would watch those fellows working those thousand acre fields with giant Steigers and combines..... .watch grain go out by the 18 wheeler loads and could never get over the amazement of what big time farming really is. More than anything else, I wonder what it was like to farm those fields 100 years ago. Lo, I digress...back to 2 row planters!
