I hope I am not posting in the wrong place. My father died about 15 years ago and there are still a few pieces of equipment there on the farm.

I would like try to get a sale value of a IH 101 manure spreader. I left home in the fall of 1967 and had used it many years while growing up. The spreader is wheel driven and still works. It was in gear when I pulled it out. There were leaves and other trash in the box that it unloaded. It has always been kept under shelter, so the paint inside is still in fair shape.

I don't have a clue on where to start on an asking price. I have pictures that I took yesterday. I loaded 4 in a Yahoo photo album that is linked would be happy to send them to anyone that can help set a sale price. Please email help, because I may not get back here for a few days.

We also have a Ford 3 bottom plow, 14" I think. A 3 wheel IH grain drill (pulled & lifted with tractor arms)

thanks, and sorry for the long post

John

The spreader is in North Carolina.

Thanks for the replies.

Hi, looks like you have a very good older spreader. It's great that it was stored inside all these years! If you're in the midwest, I'd start asking $500.00 for it. If you're in the east somewhere, it might be worth twice that. But that's just my opinion. Good Luck! Bill
