I need some help to find some Oliver plow parts. I have a old Oliver 3 bottem plow that is a pull type I can't find a model number on it but one place told me it was called a rooster comb plow I don't know. It is a manual lift. I need the bar that holds the plow up. When it is triped the bar lets the plow go into the ground and when you trip it again the bar locks the plow up.

I have looked at some 2 bottems that look the same and how they work.

If any one has a 3 bottem for parts or knows where I can find some let me Know. Can any one tell me if the bar is the same size on the 2 and 3 bottem so I can get one made if I can't find one.

The plow is in real good shap if that bar was there I would like to get it fixed to us it Thanks Jeff

Hi JeffK-MN....I have a one bottom Olover plow and I just made a new bar for it two weeks ago. But,I'm not sure we are talking about the same bar. The bar I made runs between the lever to raise and lower the plow and a rear rockshaft. Is this the bar you are talking about?

Pete

The bar on the lift mechanism should be the same for various size plows. If you are missing yours, and saw one on another, copy the one you saw. Generally shafts about 3/4 inch thick.
