Is a 350 JD Sickle mower a good mower? It looks like it has had a new sickle put in just before it was parked, and the bar and clamps all look good. About what is this thing worth?

Thanks in advance

It's a terrible mower... I'll take it off your hands so you needn't mess with it....(Just jokin')

VERY good mower. Heavy built, smooth operating. Parts still available.

I'd just about kill for one with a 9' bar....

They often sell for $1500 to $1800 here. The cheapest I've seen one sell in recent years was $800.

The guy wants $1000 for it it has all the books and an extra sickle and yes it has a 9 ft bar. I believe I will call him and see if I can talk him down a little and try and take it off his hands. Thanks for the replys.

I paid about $650 for mine (pull type)-great shape except worn out sickle and belt. I put about $200 to fix those items.

It is a cutting machine with that new sickle. I like it very much.
