Unknown Plow/Point

Hello!
My dad has a very old plow and was looking for replacement points. The plow has no discernable identify (there is a spot for a nameplate, long since rusted away).
I believe on it was an adjusted Massey-Ferguson point (which kinda worked) but it also is a bit aged and the origins are unknown. I have pictures of the plow, the replacement point in use, and a few pictures of the original point (with closeups on the markings).

Does anyone know what this plow is and details on the replacement/original points? He is hoping to find someone to get new points from (Upstate NY)

The plow frame is a Ferguson made between 1939 and 1942, the old point number starts out 12A, that stands for 12" general purpose style, you will need to look at the back of the moldboard to see if that number starts out 12A also to know if everything matches, your moldboards are in need of replacement aren't they? The replacement point is a 1944 and later Ferguson (Massey Ferguson) 14R which stands for 14" general purpose style, the bolt holes are different between the two. Great! Yeah, I think the replacement that was gotten was a MF and they needed to do new bolt holes. Are the MF 14R easy to come by, or do you need some kind of specialty store?

Thats a Ferguson Plow The HF mark on the origional point stands for Harry Fergson
My father had one in the 50s.

I don't recognize it but if it is from upstate NY suspect Syracuse Chilled Plow (purchased by Deere in the early 1900's) as a possiblity. Their quenched cast iron points were popular here because they wore well in the stoney soils of Upstate NY.

Cool. Actually, I checked the blowup image on the point (http://www.themackays.net/point/Picture%20009.jpg) and found a match here in the ytmag! The associated link has the exact same number as on the original point. Does this help anyone who can help me get some info? Thanks!!!
