Hi everyone. I am looking for a spreader to pull behind my '48 8n. My neighbors suggest a 50 "or so" bushel capacity so as not to overload the old boy. I would like to stick with pto drive. Any suggestions on makes and models so I don't have to do the math everytime I look at one? Thanks in advance.

On older spreaders there never was any built in that size that were PTO powered, they were over 100 bu. size, The Dearborn-Oliver was about that size but ground drive. The McCormic 100 is a bit smaller yet. I don't know if any of the new yuppy spreaders are built with a pto drive

Check out Pequea (spelling). They make some really cute small spreaders that are PTO driven.
