Hi, I have an old ferguson disc with a square shaft and I need some cast iron bearings and bearing boxes. Does anyone out there know where I could possibly find some?

Thanks,

Matt

I purchased a bearing spool and lower bearing block from my local MF dealer in October of 2004. He charged me $ 82.00 for the bearing spool and about $30 for the lower block. I tryed to get another bearing spool from him but he couldn't seem to get another one. While visiting PA. in January, I stopped by Weaver MF dealer and he had 3 bearing spools for $ 35.00 each. Needless to say I purchased all three. What gives $82. from one dealer and $35. from another? Try your local dealer , AGCo had them on backorder. AG Supply doesn't have any thing that will fit. Good working disk.

Massey-Ferguson still had them as of 2003, but will cost you approximately $250 per box assembly. I do not know of any other sources for those particular bearings. Agri-Supply has them for Dearborn disks and some others, but they don"t match up to the Ferguson. I know of a parts ABO-22, but could be a problem depending where you are, because you"d have to take the whole thing and it"s in New Jersey.
