I am thinking of buying a used New Idea 484 baler. I am toid that it makes a 4 X 5 bale. Anyone know whether it is possible to make a smaller bale with the NI 484 - maybe like a 4 X 4?
Also need to know opinions on reliability of this baler, and what to look for when deciding whether to buy.

THANKS!!!

the 484 will not make a smaller baler than intended as it is a soft core baler, i had a 483 that made 4x4 bales and i loved it, with the soft core you can bale a little earlier with out any moisture problems, hopefully this helps you out
