JD made a 555 and 555H drawn moldboard plow but I'm not sure about 3 point too?

It may have been converted to three point looks like some welding has been done on it. It sure is a big 2 bottom

I only had some manuals on the 55 and 55H and they were 3 bottom drag type plows and I'm sure the 555 was the later version of that and 3 bottom also so that is probably why it is so long with a hitch welded on and one bottom gone.

Sounds like someone has converted it. You might check to see if there are any pics of a 555 plow on here someplace or see if your dealer has a manual or parts catalog on one. Believe I have some manuals for that plow but not positive. There are some pics on implement photos of some other plows some of us have put on there. Green Magazine also did extensive coverage of the old plows in past issues.
