Has anyone ever seen a cultipacker that is 6,5 or 4ft long. I would like to buy one [used]. If you have one or know where one is e-mail me direct. [email protected]

Thanks

Try this website, nice folks and trustworthy.

It seems they have cultipackers for sale. I bought mine used at an auction, 5' wide, and paid $50. Keep looking, you'll find one, just dont be bashful when you do find one. Pay whatever and you'll be glad. I love mine and use it all the time.

The price of iron many have gone to the scrap pile.I have seen quite a few in my local scrap yard I talked to the boss and have got extra parts for my Western Land roller from him.You may be lucky and find one in a scrap yard.

We have 2 6-7 ft. units we pull behind our grain drill, one has smooth crusher wheels, the other toothed. They are both double roller, we may be looking to sell them because we want a wider one(12' min.) to pull instead.

You could make one from a section of galvanized culvert. If you weld the ends tightly, you can add water for weight. Same thing with a rubber tire packer.

Find a big one and just cut it down. The drag type ones don't bring much at auctions here anymore. Can get new rings from: www.bighambrothers.com or www.brillionfarmeq.com

If you are talking just a single roller unit I have a 8ft wide unit that used to be horse drawn. You could narrow it up without much trouble if you wanted. I have used it behind lawn tractor as it is to smooth down old lawn at another location.

Hi guys

I was wanting to build a 6' floating sprocket style ring packer with some smaller diameter rings, say 12" or 14" OD. I cannot find any vendor, here in eastern WA state that carries or can order the smaller rings. If you come across a source please post. It appears we're looking for the same thing. bjr23

A friend of mine has a Brillion that has 4 sections. You can disassemble it, and just use one of the sections; probably about 3 feet wide. I pulled one section behind an ATV to seed my lawn. Worked well.
