Hi , Took the plunger out of my 14 this past weekend . I shouldn't have , ignorance is bliss so they say . The crank is worn but the wrist pin is about shot . The profile looks like a " w " . And the wear plates are worn down to the bolts , top and all three bottoms . Can anyone help with good used parts ? I got sticker shock at the dealer . Parts would be almost what I paid for the bailer including the brass bushings for the pitman . Everyone has said that Deere parts were generally available and they are right , but it'll cost ya ! So if anyone is trashing out a early deere bailer and the wear plates and wrist pin are still usable I could sure use 'em ! Thanks ...Randy

I would say that the cheapest source of parts is---a parts baler, although it sounds as if that is what you already have! Just look for anopther 14T, that's cheap, and if you do a good job of inspecting it prior to buying it, you will either get all of the parts you need for yours, or, your baler will have all the parts you need to keep the 2nd baler running or to place it in service!

Can't help with parts, but sure agree with your comment on Deere parts cost. I have a 214WS baler, and last fall, replaced the resistor plates with new at $60+ each. Can hardly wait to see what's next! :(

I have a 14T and a 24T both of them are parts only. I'd love to sell the pair of them.

Hi Old , You are from Missouri aren't you ? I left there 20 years ago . Anyway , it'd be to far to buy both balers even though I'd be happy to take both off your hands if you where closer ! Would you have the time or ambition to remove the wrist pins and send them both if they aren't worn out too ? A good yank on the pitman will tell you that . Why are you scrapping them ? I could use a extension chute and a regular chute also if they are any good . I've been watching the ad's around here and 14t's are coming up very often , even less for a newer model like a 24t . Well , if you can do it thanks and if you can't thanks either way I enjoy reading your post's . Take care ...Randy

It'd be about 10 -15 bucks through UPS .

I'm parting them out because of a knoter problem on the 14T something went wrong when I was useing it and the needles came up and broke both knotters and bent the needles. Refreash my memory what/ where is the pitman. I do have a couple shoots by the way. Drop me and e-mail and I'll give you my phone number and we can talk about the parts
