Need some info on a IH 54 4 row corn planter

I bought this planter last year at a auction.Well I plan on planting some corn with it this year.
But It has a chain missing on the drive gear for the fertilizer drive and I know that the way the chain lines up with the other gears on the sprocket is how you detirmnet how much fertilizer to put down ,
Can some one tell me how the chain goes and how to line the gears to get different amount of fertilizer.

I realize I'm not helping you, but:

Owning a baler, planter, or combine pretty much _requires_ having a manual for these items. There are too many adjustments & options to try to run blind without.

You shoulda been looking for a manual the past few months..... .

I have a green planter, for fert there are 3 different augers in the fert boxes, with a standard & several optional gearsets for driving them. So, any advise you get may or may not apply to _your_ setup - just be aware of that.... And fertilizer is easy, setting the plates & plate speeds is the finiky part.... :)

I'd look to a Case dealer, Ebay, or the manual section on this site or others to track down a real manual for yourself. A very good investment.
