Can anyone tell me any information on new holland haymkers handbooks.. I emailed new holland they game me a buch of sites and i all i asked was for information on how many there were and what years they were made etc i believe one was made in 67 and one in 75.. These must be rare i have been watching ebay and havnt seen one in months.. If anyone has some they want to sell email me.. I just cant find one..

Would anyone be interested in making a copy of their's if it is not too thick of a book. I am fairly new at making hay and would find the information useful. I do not really want one for any kind of collectable value, but just for the information inside.

Although the title refers to west of the Cascade Mtns of Washington State, the information is very good generally. Especially the info on how and when to use the tedder. I don't linve in western WA, but have found the advice very useful. Weather at hay time always seems to wind up too darn showery, so advice from those who live on the rainy left coast is applicable.

Someone brought the subject of the handbook up about a month ago in one of these forums and I sent an email to New Holland asking about it. I got a reply asking for my address so they could send me one. In came a few days later in the mail. It's a 1987 edition. I thought it was darn nice of them to be so responsive.

Mine is copyrighted in 1987; sent to us by our dealer at the time. I think my Dad has an earlier version.

I bought one off e-bay a few years ago. I believe it is a '70s vintage. Interesting little book. How I found it was to type in "haymakers". Otherwise, it was a little hard to find - both for me and other potential bidders.

I picked one up in a used book store a couple of years ago, only paid a couple of bucks. I'm not interested in selling, but if you haven't actually seen one, I found it useful since I'm just learning to make hay and use all older equipment to do it.
