Havin some trouble finding a belt for my flail(sp) mower. It's a long model 547. No longer in production, etc, etc... Accordin to the old belt its a D size (1.25"x.75") 80" belt. We dug up a couple JD combine belts 79" & 86" (close as dealer could get). Of course one is to small and one is to big. So I call up Michigan Industrial Belting and the smallest they can get is the 86". They told me the "D" belts are sized on the inside, 80" = 82" outside, and that was most likely why the JD 79" didn't fit???

Anyway, anyone have a good scource for odd size belts that will sell just one and doesn't have a $1000 min order.

Or know who picked up, carries, the long (brand) flail mowers. My AGCO source says not them.

Hi Errin,

That's a real short belt for the D series.

However, Google is your friend. Punch D75 Belt into Google Search and this is the first hit. Seems to be made in China (like a lot of things now) with USA distribution here:

Jay-Dee (or however it"s spelled) belts has a whole lot of ag inventory belts - it"s what they do, they are on the web, don"t come up so well on internet searches, but might have it. Forget their web page all the time, sorry.
