I was cleaning up some brush the other day and found sections of spring tooth harrows. There also is a horse drawn (I believe) spring harrow, and a all metal horse drawn walk-behind one bottom plow, was close to a fire, but no real bad damage, no ID that i noticed, and we have a New Idea manure spreader, floor roted out and sides getting there too. Finally have a loader off a H or M, latch bucket, mounting brakets, no cylinders. Are any of these worth keeping or scrap metal. Thanks

Around here, you can take a section of drag spring tooth harrow (4, 5 or whatever feet it happens to be), slap some paint on it, add a chain or cable and a clevis to pull it with a small tractor, and you have $150-$200 worth of ring drag for a horse operation. A New Idea ground-drive spreader with new sides and floor will fetch $1500. Once in a while I run into someone who is looking for a good bucket for one of those old loaders, so you never know . . . .

If it where me I'd keep it all, you never know when you might find some one needing parts and or wanting to fix them up. Post an ad I'm sure some one would like them even if all they do is paint them and set them in there yard

I know that our local bone yard sells spring tooth harrow tines so it may be worth parts. The plow may make someone a yard ornament.
