Ironhorse, I took a look at my drill this morning.On the back of the drill are two small levers about a foot and a half in from the wheels. These were the trips to put the seed mechanism in gear..pull out =in gear, shove in=out of gear. You could lock one side out to sow a narrow strip ie)half the drill width. As I said before lube everything with penetrating oil...one of my levers is stuck from sitting for three years. I could not find a serial number plate, that doesn't mean its not there, could be covered in grease. It has a nice little I-H tool box mounted on the front frame on the right hand side. My grass seeder box is downstairs in the barn, it sets onto brackets on the rear and locks on. A tiny chain goes from the grass seed box to a gog on the right hand drive, so the grass seeder runs with the right hand side of the drill. My charts for settings are pretty much deteriorated and I should try and find new ones. Its an old drill and it probably wouldn't bring scrap price but I can go out and sow a perfect field of grain with it still. I have a manual dealer not far from me, next time I'm there I will check for manuals for these types of drills.
