We have just purchased a Howard Rotovator and
was wondering how to get a maintenance manual.
Its a 6" some rust but fairly good condition and
has been sitting a long time. We have never used
a tiller of this sort and was wondering about
oiling since it has not been used for some time.
Thanks

I just bought a Howard myself. I am in the process of replacing oil seal and in need of a manual as well. In a pinch you can usually get a parts diagram faxed. That is actually why I am at the computer this morning. I will try to post some links I have found helpful. What model tiller did you get? We have an HR30-80 (70").

Unless something changed when i wasn't looking, HR30 is the model, the 80 is the width, so if it's 70" wide, it's an HR30 70.

No nothings changed, just my fat fingers missing keys. Should have read HR30 180 (180cm)

Used the Howard web site to locate a local dealer, contacted them and they where able to fax the info I needed in about ten minutes. Thats how things are supposed to work. Good luck.
