I have three trailers that I have redone to put ear corn in. They are about 4 inches longer than 16 ft. I need to put some lumber on them. What is the best way that you guys know to do this. I called the local lumber company and they don't have any thing longer than 16ft., that is treated. I have been thinking about getting some good oak boards and putting them on. Thanks.

What I do in that kind of situation is to buy something like all 12 footers. Then cut them to stagger your joints. With a little foresight, you will have very little or no waste. Also makes it easier to fix if you should end up with a bad spot eventually. Ron

Know anyone with a sawmill? got access to some used utility poles? You'll never again floor a trailer with raw lumber or factory treated if you go this route..... ...
