Finally Rain!!!

Well it has finally started to rain here at 8:08 AM and we needed it badly. The boys that rent some of my land didn't sow corn because it was too dry and that is very unusual in southern Ontario. We usually have several rains in April this year not one. The last rain we had was a downpour in January during a thaw. The old saying"April showers bring May flowers" didn't apply here. I'm going out to the farm to watch my grass grow, it has been fertilized and manured and Now I'll bet it grows two inches today. I know some of you live with this all the time, a constant concern for moisture, hope it spreads and everyone gets their share and get the crops started off good. Just looked out and its coming down in just a beautifull shower, hope its all day....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Congrats! Think I'll go out and do a rain dance beins I'm part Cherokee. Might work. Keeps teasing; looking like it's going to but not doing it. I agree April is about gone and no rain.
