I just picked up this new idea spreader, it needs some wood, but the apron chain and beaters are in fair shape and work. If I decide to make a wagon out of it, is there a market for the drive hardware, or is it scrap? Thanx

I just saw one with new wood, new paint, sell at auction for $1800, so you might want to find another old spreader to make a wagon.

There is probably a market for the parts in Amish country, but you might want to fix it and sell it instead. I sold one like it, in decent shape, for $900 a few years ago. Those Amish fellows need ground drive spreaders. Where are you located in PA? I'm near Williamsport.
