Single bottom Dearborn Plow

I have a single bottom Dearborn plow that has two pieces that I am not sure how they attach or what purpose they have. They are about three feet long and have sort of a notched end. How are they used? I would like to see a picture of one with these pieces attached if anyone has one. Is this a handy piece of equipment?

There are 2 bracket that need to be fastened around the pto on the back of the tractor for one end of the rod and the other end goes through the hoop in the top front of the plow frame to trip the bottom when you raise the plow so it is ready for the next pass in the field.

Is this bracket normally attached to the plow or is it a separate part that I need to look for. If so, what does it look like so I can start my search?

It is not attached to the plow it just lays in a loop holder, the end at the tractor is fastened. Mr. Bradish in western PA makes the tractor brackets and the arms, his number is 724-937-5151.

Without seeing a picture it is very hard to make a guess bit I would guess if they are a round rod type and curved that they are cover rods to help cover tall trash
