Hi All, I have a question, do any of you think that the feed cups on an Model FB Drill can be replaced with ones from a 450 Box Drill? I was going to go buy one and try it...but I was curious to see if anyone had managed to replace the feedcups or know of a place to get some from.

I don't know about the 450; but what I would do is call JD dealer and have him quickly look up the part numbers on both implements and see if they are common parts.

They are not common between the two drills. Last I went to dealer for some (2003) new FB cups were available. They are under a substitute number from the original. Cups from an FB-B would be a close match if original style can no longer be found.

Do you have a part number? I never thought of trying an FB-B.
