I mow about 20 ac. a couple of times a year and let it lay. Does a drum mower mulch enough to do this? I'm either going to get a larger brush hog or go to a drum mower. Thanks

The drum mower is designed to harvest hay. It will not mulch like a Bush Hog style cutter. People do use drum mowers to clip their pastures but a bush hog is best for this job.

Not only that, the hog rides right behind your tractor so you know where it is. With the STUFF that hangs off to the side, you never know where the end is and if you hit something; look out. Breakaway or not, you usually break something.
