I will be going to look @ a JD # 80 8ft. 3pt. blade tomorrow. Do you all know how old this could be ? I have a precison 720 toy with the 45 loader and 80 blade so I assume it was made in the 50s. Was this blade made through the 60s & 70s also ? And what value do these have ?

Thanks, For your help.

Rick

The 80 Blade is listed as matched equipment for the 520/720. It would be a match for the 720 in the 8 foot size in all likelyhood, and the 520 in the 5 foot size.

Please forgive me if I am wrong, but as I recall the JD 80 blade was built and sold in the late 60s and early 70s.I bought a used one in the early 70s.Still have it.Its a good strong blade.

I have a #80 6 foot blade and it is a good one. It is heavy enough to hold down. I use mine mostly plowing snow behind a JD430. Not sure how long they were made, I got mine on the back of a SMTA Farmall.

I bought a new model 80 blade in 1975 So, I know they were made then.
