Belt driven hay bailer

I"ve aquired an old IHC hay baler and I"m haveing trouble finding any info about it. I belted it to my JD 420 and run it for about 2 hours, so it does work, but was I write in that I ran it clock-wise looking at the flywheel? I do know that it"s a wire tie machine, it"s on steel wheels, and it"s big time HEAVY!!! Any leads, clues, advice, etc. will be very heapfull.

If the flywheel is in front of the baler,(and I assume it is) and not along the side like John Deere balers, you were turning the baler backwards. When standing in front of the baler and looking at the flywheel, the flywheel turns counter-clockwise. Steve
