need a canvas for a disc mower

i am in need of a canvas for a model DM160 gehl mower. it is a 6 disc, 7'8" unit. oem from gehl is $425. a possible fit from new holland runs about $300. was wondering about some aftermarket sources? thanks.

Check with a dairy equipment dealer or anyone else who sells belting for a conveyor, bunk feeder, or round baler. Various widths and thicknesses available. My 5209 NI had rubberized canvas not over 1/8 inch thick. Lasted for 14 years already, but a belt would work too.

The after market covers are not as robust as the OEMs but they are avialable. There is comapny 1A or A1 products (I don't remember right now) that has them. You will need to go through a dealer though. Most dealers have there catalog.

Do you have a local awning / canvas company that could make one for you?

Disc mowers can through objects so I recomend getting the heaviest / toughest possible.

you mean AI tractor parts, they don't make any for gehl models. a couple of local canvas shops want just as much as oem so i'm not sure what i'm gonna do yet.
