I have a chance to buy a 2 row covington planter, model TP-46. Its complete but the fert. hoppers need replacing and the feed shoots for the fert. are rusted out. frame and feet are in good shape. got plenty of plates.

Can yall suggest a price?

I bought one a couple of years ago and gave $175 for it. Did you pick it up and see if the disks are shot. I bought fiberglass hoppers and gave about $85 each. The opening disks were not all that expensive either. I found a fellow in Red Bay Alabama close to me here who can get any parts I need and at reasonable prices. It seems like the fertilizer chutes are pretty inexpensive also.

Is it 3 point? I looked on Covington's website, and a new 3 pt. one is like $1,500. Each fertilizer hopper/attachment is $350 a side. I would say around $200 for the one you describe, from the planters that I've sold and seen sell.
