Hi , Was the 214t built after the 14t or along side it ? Did it go something like this ; 14t,214t,24t,224t ? The first 2 means it's just a little more heavy-duty ? I found a 214t for sale along with a NH67 , any suggestions ? Thanks ! ...Randy

Randy,
I bought a new 214T in 1960 and I think the 14T was produced along with the 214T, but was introduced earlier than the 214T. Then later came the 24T and 224T, I think toward the late 60's. Yes, the 214 was a heavier version of the 14. There was a post on here a few months ago where someone explained this very well. No experience with NH balers. Good luck.

Hi David , Thanks for the answer ! I did some research in the archives for about 3 hours and finally got the jist of it . I went and looked at both the balers today but didn't get either one . They were both pretty rough for the price . They where complete but the 214t's previous owner must not have known what a grease gun was for . These where being sold by a implement jockey . Did all the 200 series balers come with a slip clutch built right into the flywheel ? This thing was heavy duty . 4 or 5 sets of what looked like 6 each springs inside the flywheel , with a shear bolt . I think I'll save up and get a good 224t next year ....Randy
