I was wondering how many people still use the old new idea uni system? I've got a couple pieces (grain head, body, snow blower, etc) sitting around and didn't know if they were still worth anything or not. Haven't seen too many people around here still using them

Joe, I do not claim to know beans about these units. But I know of on in the high Texas Panhandle that hasn't moved in at least 3 yrs. 4row whole ear corn picker. Sureenough a straight rig, not beatup I think it has a V8 of some kind for 2 exaust pipes stick out the rear. I saw it it last weekend In Stratford Texas. I am not sure who the owner is but know someone who can find out. Has a cab too.

There"s a guy in Lancaster County, RB Leaman, who would most likely want what you have. Deals specifically in Uni-Systems. I have to look in the Lancaster Farming paper to see if I can find his number. Don"t see too many Uni-Combines around anymore, but there are many Uni-Pickers and Uni-Foragers out there in use.
